Research Objective

I am a computer scientist specializing in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, which replicate the intelligence of human into machine. Artificial Intelligence bridges the gap between human and machine intelligence. My research is bounded on this fundamental problem. I aim at developing interactive intelligent systems that provides a better framework to understand the human mind, simulate the human brain and can replicate the human intelligence with a natural language interface. On this perspective, my research area is focused on two research directions: one is to develop an interactive intelligent system, which can handle uncertain situations; the second is to provide a natural language interface to the system to effectively make the human-computer interaction.

Areas of interests

My research interests are in the areas of Machine Translation, Natural Language Processing, Uncertainty Reasoning, Neuro-Symbolic Integration,

Knowledge Based Neuro Computing, Knowledge Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

I am currently exploring problems in Neural and Statistical Machine Translation, Deep Symbolic Reasoning, Cognitive aspects of Language Modleing, Uncertainty Reasoning..
